Live Well, Eat Well and Grow

We are a family-owned business with an aim to ‘Grow Together’.

Our storewide sustainable practices help us deliver that vision, alongside the important and meaningful relationships we’re building with local community groups, charities and schools.

You’ll find us nestling in the heart of the countryside, with a stunning backdrop of the Cow & Calf  Rocks, on the edge of the wonderful town of Ilkley – gateway to the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.

We have a spacious car park and for those needing disability access, we have disabled parking near the entrance, an accessibility ramp and wheelchairs for customer use.

For those who want to cycle to reach us we have 2 bike racks custom made by a local sculptor.

We welcome dogs into our store and garden centre as long as they are ‘well behaved’ and on a ‘lead at all times’ – unless they are being carried.

Like other retailers that sell food we want to keep both our customers and their pets safe which is why we only allow assistance dogs in our restaurant and food hall.

Toilets including accessible toilets and baby changing facilities are available in both the main store as well as the restaurant, coffee shop and bar area.

Our chosen charities

Partnering with Local Charities

We are proud to be part of the local Ilkley community and as we grow, we feel it’s only right that we partner with local charities we care about.

We do this through support and also employing those who wouldn’t normally have the opportunity to work in a setting such as Moss & Moor. We were proud to host our first Yorkshire Veteran fundraising event and are pleased to be able to offer work to members from Outside the Box.

Sustainability & environmental impact

Our Conscious Commitment

In support of reducing the impact on our environment, from concept to build, we took a conscious decision to choose to work with local and like-minded Yorkshire suppliers. Where possible, we have used sustainable material in the build of our new garden centre with a difference.

We will continue to make steps and introduce new initiatives to achieve our commitment as we grow.
