A seasonal tasting evening

A Seasonal Tasting Evening with Head Chef Sam Walker at Moss & Moor
Join us on Friday 10th July for an exclusive five-course tasting menu, created and prepared by our Head Chef, Sam and his team.

With over a decade of experience working alongside some of the North’s most respected Michelin-starred chefs, Sam brings his creativity, skill, and passion to the heart of Moss & Moor.

Enjoy beautifully crafted dishes inspired by the season, served in our award-winning restaurant with views across to the Cow and Calf. From a warm welcome to the final course, this evening promises flavour, flair and a relaxed atmosphere.

Flowerful Workshops with Emma James & Olivia Kenyon

Join us at Moss & Moor for a series of seasonal workshops where gardening and the mindfulness of painting come together. Led by artist Emma James and Olivia Kenyon, founder of Kin, each gentle morning invites you to slow down, work with the season's flowers and try a playful, experimental approach to acrylic painting on canvas. You'll be guided through moments of soft fascination in the garden and supported to create your own artwork to take home, along with a seasonal mini garden. No experience in gardening or painting is needed, just a willingness to notice and enjoy. Come on your own, with a friend or with family, and settle in with a warm drink and something homemade alongside the session.

Reflect & Reset: A Vision Board Workshop

As summer winds down and autumn begins to take shape, this grounded and creative morning invites you to look back, let go, and look forward. Reflect & Reset is a vision board workshop led by Intent Coaching — a mindful space to set your intentions for the season ahead.

Everything you need is provided, so all you have to do is show up and make space for yourself.

After the workshop, linger a little longer in the Moss & Moor restaurant with a 10% discount exclusively for workshop guests.

At Moss & Moor, there’s always a delightful reason to indulge in our exquisite afternoon tea—perfect for celebrations or simply catching up with loved ones.

Join us daily from 2:00pm to 3:30pm, Monday to Saturday, and relish a sumptuous array of finger sandwiches featuring classic fillings. Traditional freshly baked fruit scones, served with strawberry jam and clotted cream, accompany an assortment of sweet treats. (Selections may vary.)

Bookings are available exclusively online and must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Please note that bookings are non-refundable, as some ingredients are specially sourced and prepared just for your reservation. We also offer vegetarian options—simply inform us of dietary requirements when booking, with at least 48 hours' notice.

You & Me Baby Massage

A gentle and welcoming introduction to baby massage, designed to help you and your little one relax, bond and enjoy precious time together.

Our five week course includes a guided session each week, focusing on a different area of the body including legs and feet, tummy, arms and chest, face and back. You will also learn a soothing colic routine and simple baby yoga movements to continue at home.

Each course includes:

• A taught session each week

• Sensory toys for exploration
• Tummy time opportunities
• Use of baby weighing scales
• Graduation certificate

Suitable for babies aged 6 weeks until pre crawling.

Outstanding customer service, with plenty of communication along the way to tell us what was happening. Really impressed and would buy from them again. Good restaurant too!
